Big Little Felt Universe by Jeanette Lin is ON SALE NOW!

Hey y'all.  Been slow on the draw lately as I work through the world's most gigantic afghan with the world's worst yarn, as well as my usual backlog of work (thanks for the orders, everyone!! <3 ).  I crochet when I'm stressed out, thus neglecting my backlog and then beginning the Endless Blame Spiral.  Don't worry, customers.  Everyone will get their stuff as promised, on time.  I'm dealing with wrapping up a household-wide pink eye infestation, gone husband, and hauling my kid to a pediatric cardiologist for a full workup to see if he follows my fine family tradition of fucked up heart problems (he's fine, thank goodness).

I have yet to meet a physician other than a cardiologist who knows what LGL Syndrome is (that's what I have).  Convo usually goes like this:
Me - I have LGL Syndrome
Dr - L...G...what?  Syndrome?
Me - It's some dudes who discovered it and threw their names on it instead of calling it what it is.
Dr. - Oh, like Wolff-Parkinson-White
Me - Yeah, but that's not it.  It's Lowen, Ganog, something...it's a short PR interval.
Dr - OH, okay (writes down notes)
Me - (shakes head at arrogant doctors who name anatomy after themselves instead of calling them what they are.  I'm talking to you, Fallopian tubes and Glands of Montgomery...man, that one is REALLY over the top!  I particularly dislike that all the female reproductive bits are named after men, that one sends me over the edge.)

I think in the future, all diseases are going to be renamed and rebranded.  Like, it won't be "Cancer" anymore, it'll be "Nike Disease, brought to you by Corn Sugar."

Anyway.

I wanted to let y'all know that the very amazing Jeanette Lim (or Lin...spelled both ways, per her) of Umecrafts, has written a book!  Big Little Felt Universe.  I'm excited!!

These are the patterns I use to make my 100% wool felt food, and Jeanette's work is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.  Someone who's never threaded a needle could make her stuff.  Shit, my husband could sew from her patterns and it would look awesome.  I look at other felt food online and pardon my french, but it looks like shit compared to Jeanette's stuff.  Hers is so lifelike.  Forget the rest, go with her.  I don't need to read this book, I know it's awesome just based on the slew of patterns I already have.  Get it!  And I know, what kind of business sense is it to give away your trade secret?  Meh.  I like to share.

Buy her book.  Make her rich.  And CONGRATULATIONS Jeanette, you deserve it!!

I love comments and I read them all. But don't bother spamming me and telling me to read your totally unrelated blog because yo, I'm not a billboard. But I am tech savvy and I can find you. Be nice.
